Borrowed Time

Don’t see your city or town on our schedule? Want to bring BORROWED TIME to YOUR cinema? It’s easy! All you need is a little help from your friends. Here’s how to bring the film to a cinema in your town:

1) Visit our page on Tugg.com here: Borrowed Time's TUGG Page.

2) Choose your top 3 choices for venue (Tugg is still very new in the UK and therefore not all venues will be possible), and your top three dates (Monday-Thursday works best because cinemas are more willing to program a single screening on off-nights for them).

3) Once Tugg confirms your screening (usually 3-5 business days because it takes a little while to confirm with the cinemas), they’ll launch an event page for the screening, where the audience can reserve tickets –it will also show up on the Borrowed Time’s screenings page.

4) Spread the word! Get the word out online through Facebook, Twitter, email, etc., and recruit a friend or two to help round people up. We’ll send you posters for your screening event, and all sorts of shareable online goodies to help you spread the word (and we’ll help too!). Where possible we can also arrange for someone from the film team to attend for a Q&A.

5) Audience members book tickets, and the screening is confirmed once it passes the ticket threshold that covers all the costs associated with the screening (filmmaker fee, venue fee, shipping, etc.). The audience is only charged if the screening happens—if not enough people sign up, the event is canceled. So really, your only job is to get people to come!

6. As a bonus for hosting the screening, you’ll receive 5% of the revenue. This is just a little thank you for bringing us to your town. And if you’re working with a local non-profit organization, you also have the option of making the screening a fundraiser by collecting additional donations for the organization through the ticket order page!
